At present, there is no data to show that STRETTA is better than Nissen Fundoplication.

Nevertheless, you can try STRETTA first.

Dear doctor

I have been suffereing with GERD in these serveral years and it also affects my hiking particularly when I need to ascend steep hills then more gastric acid runs up to my throat through LES, now I have been taking PPI but the response is not fully effective, now I have been thiniking over of trying STRETTA proecedure, do you suggest such proposal? or should I take a more radical approach of receving Nissen Fundoplication?
