Try Wong Nei Chung gap. You can find the anti-aircraft battery reported on news paper. Follow the catchwater you can find two pillbox PB1 and PB2. Near the gas station you can find the HQ covered by earth and a restored shalter at road side. Many wartime structure you can find around there.

You are welcome. If you need any further information just ask. It's great that people like you intrest to study this subject. Hope you can post your paper on the web and let more people aware the problem.

For the West Brigade HQ at Wong Nei Chung gap. Please note the restored one marked as HQ by government just a shalter. The real HQ is at the hill side just next to the gas station and almost completely covered by earth! A book call "Ruins of war" by Ko Tim Keung and Jason Wordie have detailed information of HK wartime sites.

Sorry, I am not the member of RHKR nor HKMSC. I just like hiking and HK history. Wartime history is one of my major interest and did some reasearch on that. I also know some friends spend over 10 years to search the wartime military site in HK. However, most of them are western and left HK already. So it's very happy for me to see the youth generation in HK interest to study and record the wartime history of HK.
