By 荃灣人 on Wednesday, December 20, 2000 - 2:20 am:  Edit

By Isaac on Friday, December 29, 2000 - 10:48 am:  Edit

power of flash will cut when the camera body detech the light is enough

slow sync can get more environment light
have a look:

Fuji Reala, ISO 100

Kodak Supra, ISO 100

請問各高人, where can I find Kodak Ektar 25 film?

By wyman on Tuesday, April 06, 2004 - 11:05 pm:  Edit

 Kodak Ektar 25

Film is the most important part in taking landscape. For landscape photography, we seldom use ISO >400. Too much grain.
Positive film is much more better than negative, the color are more vivid and could truly present the correct color.
I would choose ISO <64, using tripod plus 11-16 aperture (prevent using f/22 if the situation do not require such high depth of view).
Taking serious landscape photo. Film is much much much better than using digital.

Kodak Ektar 25

For films, the best is probably the most common models such as:

Kodak Gold 100/200
Fuji 100/200

Why? After taking photos the film is subject to process by processing shops. 99% of them use standard formula and chemicals to process films.
Thus, their formula must be designed to fit the most common demand.

For special films like Reala, Ektar etc they need special formula in processing, although the standard C41 is OK. And pls note that film processing is a very essential part in making a photo and that is your source which affects to subsequent process.

Thus, consider the whole process instead of spending on those beyond your requirement.

Where to process special films?? Labs. They are located in Central like Robertlam, East Asia, Colour Six.
