Yes.

I just buy the SONY GPS-CS1 this Wednesday (20-9-2006) from Sony Shop, but it can hardly get a steady GPS signal. It is often blinking in searching mode.

I test it from Tai Po to Mong Kok on 72X bus. The data shows my position from south to north???

The software GPS Image Tracker can successfully attach GPS data into the EXIF. It works with my Ricoh R4 photos. Easy to use.

I just checked the static photos taken at home. The GPS position is "quite" accurate, the longitude is very good, within 10M precision, the latitude is not so good, about 30M precision. I check the photos against the coordinates given by Google Earth.

It seems that if the Sony GPS-CS1 is located on a bus moving at 100km per hour, its accuracy is not good.

Without WAAS in HK, its precision cannot be improved.

The static photos are tested under a cloudy sky, the Sony GPS-CS1 took a long time to get a steady signal. I need to turn it to a certain angle at the window by trial and error to fix the problem.

Nice to hear that.

The coordinate given by Google Earth is not always accurate.

Cloud/Rain/Wind has little or no effect on GPS reception.

Dear Kit,
Can you send me a tracklog file which was recorded by Sony GPS, I would like to compare the data with my GPS " Mio 168RS."

Thanks
